The Facility Based Skill Building Program is offered to all Individuals who are interested. You will be offered the option of specific skill building options on a daily basis. The emphasis is placed upon developing and working on goals that will enable you, to increase your skills. The types of specific skill building training will be based on topics that will increase your independence or to increase your ability to participate in inclusive activities in your community.
The Community Integrated Employment Program helps individuals obtain and maintain a competitive job. It is for Individuals who have expressed an interest in this type of work or have shown an increase in skill development and have been authorized for this service by the referring agency. The individual will be given intensive training and support through the initial processes of choosing the job, getting the job, and learning the job. The level of support will depend on you.
It is our goal to fade the level of assistance over a period of time and help the employer assume the responsibility for training and support. Your wages during employment will be determined by the employer.
The Community Based Skill Building Program is designed to provide skill building activities to individuals that are conducted in a variety if community settings. Each person that participates in this program is given the choice of participating in the scheduled activity. Specific skill building training will be based on topics that will increase your independence, productivity or to increase your ability to participate in inclusive activities in your community.
The Supportive Self-Employment Program is designed to help individuals determine if they are capable and want to operate their own business. Individuals in this program will learn about different business ideas, how to operate a business and will receive specific coaching during the learning and implementation phase of the process.
Transportation Services are available for those individuals who qualify and are living within our designated transportation area.
